June 27, 2020 - Joaquin Senior Center, in view of, Texas and Louisiana governors' order to pause reopening, has decided to stay closed through July. Questions or comments, call 936/269-3975.
June 19, 2020 - The Joaquin Senior Center will partially reopen on Monday, July 6 through Thursday, July 9, 10am until noon for lunch only. No games.
The following week, July 13-17, we’ll be open regular times and hours and with games.
March 19, 2020 - The Joaquin Senior Center will remain closed through Friday, May 1. During that time, we will reassess; any changes to this schedule will be posted.

May 10, 2018 - Esther Small of Logansport, formerly of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, recently celebrated her 100th birthday at the Joaquin Senior Center, where she is, of course, the oldest person. Approximately 60 people were in attendance, including the former mayor of Logansport, Catherine Freeman, and the current mayor of Joaquin, Pat Gray (second picture). Her actual birthday was May 8.
