September 2, 2016 - The Center Athletic Booster Club is making the following Roughrider Athletic Fan Package available: CAB Pass Package @ $65 each to include:1 Purple cap w/ choice of logo color (gold or pink logo) and 1 Athletic Pass that will allow admission to all CISD regular-season, home, sporting events, excluding Varsity Football.
CAB Passes can be purchased from any Booster Club Member or Roughrider Athletic Office Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
August 31, 2016 - Once again, Center ISD is offering a spirit activity for the 2016 Roughrider football season! Bleacher Creatures is back, an activity where boys and girls, grades K-5th, get to lead the Center Roughriders through the helmet and onto the field at the beginning of each home game, starting with Homecoming! Bleacher Creatures will meet the cheerleaders in front of the old field house at 7pm before each home game, and will return to their parents after they finish running.
The Lady Rider Volleyball freshman team lost to Colmesneil on August 23, 2016 by 23/25; 23/25. The Junior Varisty Volleyball team won 25/13; 25/13. The Varsity team lost 25/16; 23/25; 22/25; 25/18; 8/15.
They competed against San Augustine on August 27th and the Junior Varsity and Varsity defeated both San Augustine teams. JV won 25/11; 25/13 and Varsity won 25/19; 25/18; 25/20.
August 30, 2016 - "Coffee with Coach" begins Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 6:30am in the Center ISD Administration Board Room. Come join Coach Bowman for coffee and weekly highlights of the 2016 Rider football team.
Reminder: Ticket prices at the gate are $6 for all ages.
We are pleased to announce the return of our student section! The "Pride of Shelby County" Roughrider Marching band and the student section will be switching places this year.
We hope this provides a better experience for our students attending the game, and the Fans of Friday night! We look forward to another year of CHS success in all areas.

August 17, 2016 - Hunter Education Course is being offered by Shelby County Game Warden Anthony King and Center FFA Saturday, August 27th from 9am to 2pm at Center High School Library & Cafeteria (signs will lead you to parking lot).
