September 21, 2016 - The Artisan is CISD's literary magazine, which is published once per semester. The magazine includes work from every campus in many categories: poetry, short stories, essays, paintings, drawings, photography, graphic designs etc.

Center HS Flex Lunch

September 19, 2016 - CHS Flex lunch will begin on Tuesday, Sept 20th, with three days of homeroom for training on the flex lunch process. Each student has an assigned homeroom and lunch time. Flex Lunch will begin on Friday Sept 23rd.

Center ISD Announces 2016 Homecoming Court, Sweethearts, Beaus

September 16, 2016 - Center ISD announces the 2016 Homecoming Court Duchesses, Sweethearts and Beaus. Homecoming game is tonight at 7:30pm. Pre-game will be at 7pm. Homecoming parade will be held Saturday, September 17th at 4pm.

Freshman Duchesses are Kalei LaRock and Mallory Fausett; Sophomore Duchesses are Esther Mergerson and Madison Russell; Junior Duchesses are Elizabeth Chavez and Junior Duchess Lexi Moody; Senior Queen Nominees are Alexis Barlow, Kimberly Rodriguez, and Whitlee Reed.

Shelby Savings Bank Donates T-Shirts to Freshmen Fish Camp

September 16, 2016 - The Center High School graduating class of 2020 would like to thank Shelby Savings Bank for their t-shirt donation benefiting Freshmen "Fish Camp" on August 16th. Each student was given a free t-shirt when they attended. Fish Camp allows freshmen the opportunity to tour the campus, locate their classrooms and meet teachers before the school year begins.

Center HS Senior Portraits are Monday, Sept 19th

September 15, 2016 - Senior portraits will be taken on Monday, September 19th. Students who wish to receive their proofs at home must bring $10. Students also need to know their home address. If proofs are not purchased, the student will not see his/her senior photo until they appear in the yearbook.

There is not a required form. Gowns will be provided.

Center HS Tennis Updates, Caps and Athletic Passes

September 14, 2016 - Tennis Update: Saturday, September 24th the Center vs Pleasant Grove at Lindale game has been rescheduled to Saturday, October 1st, Center vs Pleasant Grove at Hallsville.

Area Tournament Monday, October 17th will be two rounds played and adding Tuesday, October 18 for the Area Finals at Longview High School.

Effective immediately, the Roughrider Athletic Booster Club will sell Caps and Athletic Passes as follows:

September 14, 2016 - The yearbook staff will be near the entrance of the Homecoming Game this Friday from 6:00 until 3rd quarter to sell the 2016-2017 yearbook. Books are $45. Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted.
