May 22, 2017 - Charles Hughes' Shoe Shop was a Timpson fixture for over half a century. Although he did all the repair work one normally associates with a shoe shop, he also created beautiful hand-tooled western-style belts, purses, Bible covers, wallets, and holsters.

Well-known for her work as Frontier Days Co-ordinator, Mrs. Corder also has served on the Chamber of Commerce, Library Board, and as a TAGHS officer, as well as being active in her church. Born Marilyn Hudson, she will talk about her Timpson heritage through the Hudson and Bates families at the January 18 meeting of the Timpson Area Genealogical and Heritage Society.
