August 9, 2018 (Event Letter) - On August 11, 2018, from 11am to 1pm, the Pineywoods Family Outreach Center will host our annual back to school event with a Backpack Giveaway to vulnerable families in the Shelby County area.
The event is at Pineywood Outreach, 255 Haley Drive, Center, Texas 75935 and there will be free backpacks, light school supplies, free food, live band, and simple hair braiding.

Thursday, May 10, 2018 is National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day. The theme is “Partnering for Health and Hope Following Trauma.” The focus is on the importance of developing an integrated approach to caring for the mental health needs of children and families who have experienced trauma. Please join Head Start in promoting awareness, by wearing a green ribbon as we partner for hope and healing.

November 22, 2016 - Tri-County Community Action, Inc. Birth to Five Project gives priority to children with disabilities. At least, 10% of enrollment is comprised of children with special needs. Tri-County Community Action, Inc. Birth to Five Project collaborates closely with the local school districts. Local school districts are mandated to provide services to children with disabilities from ages 0 to 21.
