July 15, 2025 - Donations are being accepted to help the Oscar Rios Family with medical and travel expenses. On the 4th of the July Oscar Rios was traveling to see a fireworks show when he was involved in a horrible crash and he is still in a coma.

July 3, 2025 - What better way to celebrate 4th of July than to present veterans with quilts! The Scrap Happy Quilters group visited Pine Grove Nursing Center in Center and presented Quilts of Valor to resident veterans. The patriotic quilts were given to Clyde Smith, David Boyd, Darry Rushing, David Satterwhite, and Aubrey Wilson.

Pine Grove expresses their appreciation to the group of quilters for their gifts which brought excitement and joy to the veterans. Happy 4th of July from the Scrap Happy Quilters and Pine Grove Nursing Center!

July 2, 2025 - Planning for the largest festival ever, Frontier Days will move to July 10 through July 13, 2025. Changes to the dates of this year’s Frontier Days have been made for the first time in 62 years moving the festival from the first weekend to the second weekend of July.

June 30, 2025 - Shelby County Outreach Ministries is in need of donations due to the growing number of clients.
