November 11, 2016 - I would like to congratulate Leigh Porterfield and Terry Scull, on them being elected to the City of Center City Council, I feel both candidates will do a great job to help Center. I would also like to thank all the people of Center that came out and voted. I appreciate all the support I received.

November 10, 2016 - Buster Bounds, the local town historian, has recently been working on a project documenting the demolition of the former Shelby Regional Medical Center on Hurst Street which was also formerly Memorial Hospital. The land is currently being prepared for the construction of a new church building.

The first video is an interview for the Coffee Shop Cafe which he recorded in 1993 with the hospital's new administrator, Tony Zurbrugg. The renovation of the medical facility had just been completed.

November 8, 2016 - Officer Matt Haddox was recently honored with an employee recognition award at the Center ISD Police Department.
