May 13, 2016 - I need your help and most importantly your vote. I am seeking the office of District Judge of the 123rd Judicial District Court, which serves the people of Panola and Shelby Counties. The role of a District Judge is an important one, as he or she presides over criminal, civil, and family law matters. The decisions and rulings of the District Judge affect not only your everyday life, but your way of life. May 13, 2016 Austin, TX - Senator Robert Nichols (R-Jacksonville) announced the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) is accepting applications for a grant award for early warning systems. In light of significant and deadly flooding events over the past year, TWDB has made it a priority to enhance the abilities of communities to warn citizens and respond to flood emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
