December 8, 2017 - Center ISD is collecting cans to benefit the Shelby County Outreach Ministries.The outreach serves meals and provides food to the elderly, poor and disadvantaged.
The canned food drive will run through Friday, December 8.
Center High School
Goal: 1,000
Reward: Popcorn party - Homeroom with the most cans collected on campus
Center Middle School
Goal: 1,500
Reward: Pizza Party - Rider Time class with the most cans collected in each grade level

December 5, 2017 - Center MS is currently participating in a Readathon Fundraiser. The community can help by going to this link to make a donation. The fundraiser ends in 6 days. Any donations are appreciated.
December 5, 2017 (Event Flyer) - Register for the CHS Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) Ugly Sweater 5K by visiting active.com and searching "Ugly Sweater Run." The first 75 to register will receive a free t-shirt.
Pre-registration is $20 online. On-site registration ($25) will begin at 7 a.m. on December 9.
December 2, 2017 - (Flier) - A parent meeting for basketball players in grades 9-12 is scheduled for Monday, December 4 at 6 p.m. in the CHS Roughrider Gymnasium.
The meeting is not required, but is highly encouraged.
November 30, 2017 - Mrs. Corbell and Mrs. Crouch's third grade classes raised money for the First Baptist Church of Center's Food Basket Drive to provide Christmas meals for local families in need. They helped feed four families by raising $276.
