CMS Students Adopt Houston-area School; Seeking Donations

September 4, 2017 - CMS Students ask for community donations to help supply a Houston-area school following hurricane Harvey.

CMS Junior Chamber of Commerce and Junior BETA Club have joined forces to adopt a school affected by the storm. Goodson Middle School, with a population of over 1200, is located in Cypress, Texas. CMS is planning to collect donations for the students to help in making the beginning of the school year a bit easier.

Center HS Football Home Game Ticket Sales

September 1, 2017 - From CISD Athletic Office:

Notice regarding home game ticket sales for varsity football only. Tickets will be sold in the following manner: Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017.

Varsity football home game ticket pre-sales will occur on Wednesdays & Thursdays only 8am to 3pm only at Center High School office and Center Administration Office.

Ticket prices: Adults - $5; Students - $3; (Pre-K Thru 12th Grade).

Tickets purchased at the gate: $6 for all ages.

August 31, 2017 - A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of Center Independent School District (CISD) was held on Thursday, August 31, 2017 beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Center Independent School District Administrative Office Building located at 107 Private Road 605 in Center, Texas 75935.

John Henry Holloway called the meeting to order at 12:01pm and declared a quorum.

Center NHS and JCC Students Work Together to Bring Relief

August 30, 2017 - Following the devastation in Southeast Texas, Center High School's National Honor Society and Junior Chamber of Commerce members will send donations to hurricane victims tomorrow after a successful student-led donation drive.

"Coffee With the Coach" at Center ISD

August 29, 2017 - "Coffee With the Coach" begins this Wednesday, August 30th from 6:15am to 7am. Come meet with Coach Bowman at the CISD Administration Office Board Room to discuss Roughrider Football.

Coffee With the Coach will be held every Wednesday throughout the 2017 football season.

Center's Copelin Included in Texas OnCourse 29 Counselors, Advisers to TXOC Leader Fellowship

August 28, 2017 - From over 230 applications, Center High School's Alease Copelin was selected by Texas OnCourse, an initiative empowering Texas students to succeed in high school, college, and career, as one of 29 counselors and advisers from across the state to participate in a two-year Leadership Fellowship.

Center MS Cancels Meet the Riders Due to Weather

August 28, 2017 - Due to expected inclement weather conditions we have cancelled the Center Middle School Meet the Riders scheduled for Tuesday, August 29th at 7:00 p.m. at Roughrider Stadium.

"Adrenaline Discount Cards" to Support Center MS Athletes

August 23, 2017 - From CISD Athletics:

Center Middle School boy and girl Athletics are currently selling "Adrenaline Discount Cards" for $20 each. There are over $300 in discounts. Some of the vendors participating are: McDonald's, Wrights, Chicken Express, Chaps Bar-b-que, Pineywoods Seafood, The BBQ Joint, Quick Change Oil & Lube, etc.

Please support our student athletes and local businesses by purchasing a card from a student athlete by Monday, August 28.
