September 11, 2017 - Dear Parents:

S.W. Carter Elementary has joined the “Adopt a School” program. This program is a collaboration of schools from all over the United States to assist the schools in Texas who were hit hard by Hurricane Harvey.  We have chosen to adopt Bay Colony Elementary in Dickinson, Texas. Dickinson is a small suburb of Houston, Texas that was hit very hard by the hurricane. They are expecting to start back to school on September 11, 2017.

September 7, 2017 - This school year will hold many precious moments that should never be forgotten. These memories last a lifetime in your child's copy of #cmsridernation. 

We are dedicating our yearbook to the late James Greer, who was such a big part of our school and our students' lives. We think you will enjoy the book for years to come.
