September 17, 2016 - A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of Center Independent School District (CISD) was held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Center Independent School District Administration Board Room located at located at 107 Private Road 605 in Center, Texas  75935.

1.    Call Meeting to Order and Establish a Quorum - James Greer called the meeting to order at 12:00 p.m. and declared a quorum.

September 16, 2016 - The Center High School graduating class of 2020 would like to thank Shelby Savings Bank for their t-shirt donation benefiting Freshmen "Fish Camp" on August 16th. Each student was given a free t-shirt when they attended.  Fish Camp allows freshmen the opportunity to tour the campus, locate their classrooms and meet teachers before the school year begins.  

September 15, 2016 - First Baptist Church, along with many local businesses, will be sponsoring a Homecoming Tailgate Fellowship on Friday from 5:00 to 6:00pm adjacent to Roughrider Stadium, near F.L. Moffett Primary School. There will be lots of food and an opportunity to visit with friends before the game. This is a community wide get-together and everyone is invited. Door prizes will be given away, including an iPad. The event is free.
