December 6, 2019 - Center ISD Senior Tyler Herndon was recognized as a member of the THSCA 1st Team Academic All-State football team. 

The THSCA Academic All-State Teams recognize high school athletes who excel in the following categories: GPA, class rank and ACT/SAT score. 

December 4, 2019 - In conjunction with the community’s downtown activities during Christmas Parade weekend, the CHS Theatre Department will present an original musical production “Christmas at the Rio” in the historic Rio Movie House at 4:30 this Saturday, 90 minutes before the parade begins.
