Shelbyville Water System Rescinds Boil Water Notice

Spril 28, 2023 - The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Shelbyville public water system, 2100014 to issue a Boil Water Notice on April 27, 2023, to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

Sheriff Updates Roadways; NWS Advises Another Storm 10:30pm (Updated 9:54pm)

Updated: Roadways not passable are CR 4854 and CR 4885 which is under water.


Updated: Sheriff advises DPS reports roadways cleared are CR 4800, CR 4843, CR 4830, CR 4807, CR 4888, CR 4249 to FM 2026, CR 4849 to CR 4854, and CR 4012 to CR 4021 to SH 87.


April 26, 2023 - Sheriff Kevin Windham reports a emergency response command post has been setup at the Timpson Fire Station. The precinct will be broken up into grids to assess the damage.
