May 6, 2024 - Shelbyville Dragons will play the Timpson Bears in the Softball Regional Quarterfinals Playoffs starting May 9, 2024. All Games will be at Carthage High School.

May 2, 2024 - A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Shelbyville Independent School District will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, beginning at 12-noon, in the Board Room of the Shelbyville Independent School District at 5322 St. Hwy 87 South, Shelbyville, Texas.

April 30, 2024 - Center Rider Varsity and Junior Varsity Tennis teams lead by Coach Leon Dykes and Coach Lori Mancheck each won their 2024 District Championship!

At the Varsity District tournament in Longview, the Girls team placed first and the Boys team placed third.

Heading to Regionals in Girls Doubles for finishing first are Sayre Hall and Reese Cockrell. Also, heading to Regionals is Jalen Postell in Girls Singles for finishing first.
