Dear Parents,

August 2, 2016 - My name is Judy Monroe. I am the Tenaha High School and Middle School Principal (Grades 6-12). Students will return to school on August 22. I would like to welcome you to a new school year at Tenaha Schools.

Visitors on Campus

Please be aware that all visitors must sign in with the campus secretary and receive a visitor’s pass prior to entering the building. This includes breakfast times and lunch times. Visitors will be required to sign out at the same campus prior to leaving.

The Tenaha Roarin’ Band from Tigerland Competes in State OPS Competition!

August 1, 2016 - The Tenaha Roarin' Band from Tigerland was named the State “Runner-Up” for class 2A in both the March Category and Concert Category of the 2016 State ATSSB OPS recording contest! The band’s recordings of "General Lee March” by Karl King and “Broken Bow” by Carl Strommen were recorded at the Region 21 UIL Concert & Sight Reading Contest on April 26th of this year. They were then submitted to the OPS (Outstanding Performance Series) contest in May.

Tenaha ISD Hires New Assistant Band Director

July 11, 2016 - Tenaha ISD recently hired Shannon Landrum as Assistant Band Director. Mrs. Landrum is a highly qualified band director with a Masters Degree, and 7 years of teaching experience.

Tenaha ISD Students Celebrate Completion of the Summer Language Program

June 24, 2016 - Tenaha ISD just completed the Summer Language Program for students who will be entering Kindergarten and First grades next school year. Students celebrated their hard work with a day at the park!

Lady Tigers Perform Well at Summer Hoops

June 23, 2016 - The Tenaha Lady Tigers basketball team looked sharp at Tenahas’ Special Events Center, last Tuesday, during summer basketball competition.
