Congratulations to Bethany Lindgren who was elected as the 2015 Timpson High School homecoming queen. Bethany, a senior, was crowned at the pre-game homecoming court presentation at the homecoming game. The Timpson High School pep rally this week will be Friday, October 16 at the football stadium at 2:00 p.m. Everyone is invited to the pep rally to cheer for the Varsity Bears who will play Overton at home at 7:30 p.m. in the second district game of the season. Congratulations to the Varsity Bears who defeated Mt. Enterprise in last week‘s first district game by a score of 42-14.

Timpson "Trunk or Treat" Event at Downtown Plaza

October 14, 2015 - Timpson Ministerial Alliance & The Timpson Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a “TRUNK or TREAT” event on the Downtown Plaza. Trunk or Treat starts at 6:00 pm Saturday, October 31st.

Prizes for the Best 2 costumes are $25 each and Best decorated Trunk or Vehicle is $50. (Prize money donated by Mayor Debra Smith). Bring your little Ghosts & Goblins to Downtown Fall Festival and let them fill their bags with treats and enjoy the festivities.

Belrose Receives All American Cheerleader Award, Earns Trip to London

October 7, 2015 - Cadey Belrose, a senior honor student at Timpson High School, recently competed and was selected for All American Cheerleader while attending cheer camp with her squad. Cadey will be performing in the London New Year's Day Parade.

Timpson FCCLA will be participating in the Alzheimer's Memory Walk Oct. 24 in San Augustine. If you are interested in making a donation, follow the directions below to do so online. If you would rather make a donation in person, please let me know and FCCLA sponsor Danielle Smith will send an officer to pick it up.
