May 8, 2025 - The community proudly celebrates Center High School students, Denton Odom, Christian Hill, Zykerius Barnes, Destiny Tinner, Gregory Levier, and Araiya Edwards, on the achievement as an outstanding student who has been accepted into the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) SOAR Program. The SOAR (Seeking, Observing and Achieving Results) Program is a prestigious multi-year initiative designed to support students as they chart their post-secondary path and prepare for life beyond high school.
July 15, 2024 - The Shelby County Parent Advisory Committee is hosting a Just Live Safe Teen Summit for pre-teens and teens, ages 10-18 on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at the Pineywoods Outreach Center.
