May 5, 2026 - Notice is hereby given that a Post-Election Hand Count Audit for the City of Timpson General Election will be conducted on May 11, 2026. 

The hand count will take place in the Timpson City Hall beginning at 9am.

March 23, 2026 - Notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the governing body of the City of Timpson will be held on the 26th day of March, 2026 at 5:30pm at City Hall, 456 Jacob St., Timpson, Texas, at which time the following subjects will be considered, to-wit:  

Discuss and possibly take action:  Discuss and consider acceptance for the resignation from  Public Works employee, effective April 2, 2026.

Discuss and possibly take action:  Discuss and possibly take action to either post or re-hire for the vacant Public Works position.

February 6, 2026 - Notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the governing body of the City of Timpson will be held on the 12th day of February, 2026 at 5:30pm at City Hall, 456 Jacob St., Timpson, Texas, at which time the following subjects will be considered, to-wit:

Discuss and possibly take action: Discuss options for city-wide debris removal from the ice storm to include, labor, debris disposal and location, timeline, etc.

October 22, 2025 - On October 20, 2025 the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the City of Timpson public water system, TX2100003 to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

September 12, 2024 - Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the governing body of the above-named City will be held on the 16th day of September at 5:30 pm at Timpson City Hall, 456 Jacob Street, Timpson, Texas, at which time the following subjects will be considered, to-wit:
