November 12, 2025 - BOM Bank presented the Center Middle School's 'My Sister Myself' group a donation on Wednesday, November 12 to support their journey. Bank representatives Courtney Sanchez and Hannah Bailey presented the girls with a check and shared, "BOM strives to do community involvement and are eager to help out with organizations that are community driven especially those focused on youth and promoting future leaders. Anytime a local organization comes on behalf of something like this, the bank is willing and generous to support."
My Sister Myself sponsors accepting the donation on behalf of the school are Mrs. April Bloys and Mrs. Anita Williams.
Each year the 8th grade girls in My Sister Myself take a spring trip which involves working at a Food bank. The group has volunteered at the Tyler, Houston and most recently San Antonio Food Banks. They volunteered at the Greater Houston Food Bank (the largest in the country) six times. This year the girls are hosting a morning "Drive thru" Food drop off from 7am to 8am on Monday, November 17 to help with the Middle School campus food drive.
