May 15, 2024 - The Center Police Department held a promotions ceremony on Monday, May 13 in the training room at the police department.

May 11, 2024 - The 79th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day was recognized by VFW Post 8904 on May 8, 2024 before the Shelby County Veterans Memorial on the Center square.

April 22, 2024 - There are three cities and three school districts in the county that will be having an election on Saturday, May 4, 2024.
