May 25, 2016 - Panola College is proud to announce the names of those students named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2016 semester. To qualify a student must complete a minimum of 12 semester hours with a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.79. Only courses applying toward an associate degree or certificate are included in the computation.

Panola College Releases Spring 2016 Graduate List

May 24, 2016 - On May 13, 2016, Panola College announced that 333 candidates qualified for graduation this semester. Students receiving multiple degrees or certificates include one for Associate of Arts, five for Associates of Arts in Teaching, 62 for Associate of Science, 78 for Associate of Applied Science, and 170 Certificates.

Panola College Offers Dental Assisting Program

May 20, 2016 - The Panola College Workforce and Continuing Education division is offering a Dental Assisting program June 3 – August 19, 2016, on the Carthage campus. Panola College Conducts 77th Commencement

May 16, 2016 - On Friday, May 13, 2016, Panola College conducted its 77th commencement at the Carthage Civic Center. Panola College had 333 degree and certificate candidates and 182 of those students participated in the commencement ceremony making this graduation the largest in the College’s history.

Three Ponies Sign with D1 University Basketball Teams

May 16, 2016 - Three Panola College Ponies basketball players have signed to play with D1 schools. Charles “Cha Cha” Tucker, Jr., will attend Sacred Heart University in Connecticut. He was first team All-Region and first team All-Conference in Region XIV play.

Johnathan Wiley will play for Southern Illinois University. He earned honorable mention honors in All-Region Conference.

Good Luck to the Panola Baseball Team

May 12, 2016 - The Panola Ponies depart today to the NJCAA Regional Tournament to be played in Sugarland, TX at Constellation Field, home of the Sugarland Skeeters. The Ponies qualified for the tournament as the #2 team from the Region XIV Eastern Conference and will face Alvin CC. the number 3 seed from the South Conference tomorrow at 10 a.m.

Panola College Honors Retirees

May 5, 2016 - On Wednesday, May 4, 2016 Panola College held a retirement ceremony to honor three longtime employees Mr. Ernie Davis, Mrs. Kathy Pate, and Mrs. Shirley Ingram. Together these retirees accumulated 81 years of experience. Dr. Greg Powell, President of Panola College, presented each retiree with a token of appreciation and thanked them for their many years of dedicated service.
