Shred Day on the Downtown Square (Rescheduled to Monday 10-2pm)

Update 10:17am: The mobile Shredding Unit has been reschedule for Shred Day to Monday, May 15, 2023 from 10am to 2pm. 

May 12, 2023 - The Shred Truck experienced issues on its way to Center. The hope is another truck will be able to come and the mobile Shredding Unit will be available sometime later today; however, it may have to be rescheduled to another day. The Chamber will notify the public as soon as more details are available.

Shred Day on the Downtown Square Sponsored by Republic Services

May 8, 2023 - Shred Day is scheduled for this Friday, May 12th from 10:00am until 2:00pm. The Shredding truck will be on the downtown square in front of the Chamber offices.

The Shredding service is provided free to the public as a service of the Shelby County Beautiful Clean program of the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce and our generous Presenting Sponsor, Republic Services and our generous Gold Sponsor, Farmers State Bank.

New Owner Ribbon Cutting for East Texas Awards Engraving & Embroidery, ASAP Shipping

May 3, 2023 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and Staff are excited to invite the public to join them at a Ribbon Cutting for East Texas Awards, Engraving & Embroidery and ASAP Shipping on Friday, May 12th at 11am. East Texas Awards, Engraving & Embroidery is located at 118 Nacogdoches Street and is open Monday – Friday 10am – 5:30pm.

SC Chamber of Commerce Healthcare Committee Sponsoring Fan Drive

May 1, 2023 - Summer and hot temperatures are right around the corner.  The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Healthcare Committee is sponsoring a fan drive during the month of May.  Fans will be distributed to several of our local non-profit agencies who will in turn make sure the fans are delivered to individuals and families in need.

ETEX Communications To Hold Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

April 19, 2023 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors will join Etex for a Ribbon Cutting ceremony on Friday, April 21st at 11:00am.

Etex, a telecommunications company, established in 1952 by a group of farmers in Upshur County, now serves parts of 13 counties providing connectivity to thousands of East Texans, hundreds of cell towers, school districts and countless counties and cities.
