September 21, 2018 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Santa’s Christmas Parade Committee announces the 2018 parade will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 beginning at 6:00 p.m. and is presented by Shelby Savings Bank. The theme for the parade this year is”A Mardi Gras Christmas”.
November 1, 2018 - Santa Claus recently delivered an invitation to Dr. Jheri-Lynn McSwain to serve as Grand Marshal of the 19th annual Santa’s Christmas Parade. The parade, presented by Shelby Savings Bank, will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 beginning at 6:00 p.m.

October 6, 2018 (More Photos) - The Chicken Clucking Contest was held Saturday, October 6th during the 42nd East Texas Poultry Festival and kids of all ages took to the stage to 'Cluck, Strut, and Crow' their way into the hearts of the judges.
