November 18, 2020 - The Taste of the Holidays, sponsored by Shelby Savings Bank, will be held on Thursday, December 3rd at the Windham Civic Center from 4:30p.m. – 7:30p.m. There will be delicious food samplings available.

November 11, 2020 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors along with Lisa and Roderick Jones, owners of White Cottage Mercantile, will welcome Chamber members to a Business After Hours event on Thursday, November 12th from 5:00 until 6:30pm.
White Cottage Mercantile will showcase the fun selection of inventory while at the same time Chamber members will have an opportunity to network with each other in a casual and relaxed atmosphere. There will also be food and entertainment.
October 27, 2020 - Please join Nancy and Jerry Lawhorn, Owners of Family Traditions Southern Eatery & Catering and the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors at a New Member Ribbon Cutting on Friday, November 6th at 11:00am. Family Traditions is located at 246 Tenaha Street in Center (on the corner of Timpson and Tenaha Streets. The public is invited to attend to celebrate and stay for lunch.
October 15, 2020 (Event Flyer) - The 13th Annual Health and Fitness Fair, Presented by Cline Family Medicine will be held next week on Friday, October 16th at the Windham Civic Center from 9:00 a.m. until 12noon. Gold Sponsors Focused Care of Center, Hope Community Medicine and Nacogdoches Medical Center also helped in making the event a success.

September30, 2020 - The 2020 East Texas Poultry Festival, Sponsored by Farmers State Bank starts tomorrow at the Civic Center on Hurst Street and runs through Saturday, October3rd. The Entrance to the Festival is on Civic Center Drive. Parking is available at the Ivan Smith parking lots and at Center Motor.
The Cutting of the Feathers will be held tomorrow Thursday, October1st at 10am on the Frances Oates Center Stage!
September 22, 2020 - The Third Annual Poultry Festival Car and Motorcycle Show sponsored by Zack’s Tint Shop. The Show will be held on Saturday, October 3 as a part of the Poultry Festival Saturday activities. It will be held from 10am until 2pm at the Windham Center.
Enter your car and/or motorcycle, or just stop by and view the vehicles.
There are 3 categories: Cars pre-1972; Cars 1972 and newer; and Motorcycles. Trophies will be given for the top 3 in each category. There will also be a People’s Choice Award.

The 44th East Texas Poultry Festival Quilt Show, sponsored by Scull Timber, will be held at the Windham Civic Center in Foster Hall in conjunction with the 2020 East Texas Poultry Festival on October 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
