Murphy USA to Hold Groundbreaking Ceremony

September 11, 2018 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors will join new member Murphy USA and the District Manager, Tammy Martinez for a Ground Breaking Ceremony on Friday, September 21st at Noon. The site for the Ground Breaking and the new Murphy USA is at the Walmart parking lot on Hurst Street.

Tammy Martinez, is excited about this location. She wants everyone to attend the Ground Breaking and stay for food and fun.

Lasting Impressions to Host Business After Hours

September 10, 2018 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors with Paula Jones, owner of Lasting Impressions, will welcome Chamber members to a Business After Hours event on Tuesday, September 11th from 5:00 until 6:30pm.

Lasting Impressions will showcase the lovely selection of inventory while at the same time Chamber members will have an opportunity to network with each other in a casual and relaxed atmosphere.

Despino’s Tire Service to Have Ribbon Cutting

September 4, 2018 - A new member Ribbon Cutting and Celebration will be held for the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce’s newest member, Despino’s Tire Service. The Ribbon Cutting and celebration will be held on Friday, September 14th from 10am until 2pm. The actual Ribbon Cutting will be held at 10am. There will be hamburgers, hot dogs and great Give Aways which include 2 $500 Visa Gift Cards and a set of STT Pro Tires.

August 31, 2018 - Crossfit 936 will present the Annual East Texas Poultry Festival 5K Chicken Run and Kids Fun Run on Saturday, October 6th.

ETPF Creative Arts Committee Plans Creative Arts Show

August 29, 2017 - The 41st East Texas Poultry Festival (ETPF) will be featuring local Creative Arts through the annual Creative Arts Show, sponsored by Scull Timber, along with a Can-A-Rama featuring local canned goods. The Creative Arts Committee has expanded this year’s show to include art, crafts, horticulture, woodworking and metal art along with photography, quilting and canning.

936 Crossfit Hosts East Texas Poultry Festival 5k Sponsored by Cline Family Medicine

August 21, 2018 - 936 Crossfit will present the Annual East Texas Poultry Festival 5K Chicken Run and Kids Fun Run on Saturday, October 6th.

The Chicken Trot, Sponsored by Cline Family Medicine will begin at 7:30am on the downtown square. The Kids Fun Run will begin at 7am. Pets are welcome on a leash and will follow runners.

42nd Annual East Texas Poultry Festival Approaches

August 21, 2018 - Kids are back in school so that means the 42nd Annual East Texas Poultry Festival, Sponsored by Farmers State Bank, is just around the corner, 43 days away to be exact.

The Poultry Festival will be held on October 4th, 5th and 6th. It is going to be a FUN weekend. New this year – Children’s Tent, Car Show and Rooster Breakfast.
