March 19, 2018 - We will see you this Friday, March 23rd, at Raymond Motors for a Ribbon Cutting. The Celebration starts at 12noon. Raymond Motors is located at 301 San Augustine Street. The public is invited to attend and meet the Owners and Staff. Railroad Commissioner, Wayne Christian and State Representative Chris Paddie will be in attendance as will other local dignitaries. There will be door prizes and refreshments.

March 12, 2018 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the 11th Annual Health and Fitness Fair, Presented by Cline Family Medicine, Thursday, March 22 at the Windham Civic Center from 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Gold Sponsors Focused Care of Center, Hope Community Medicine and Nacogdoches Medical Center also helped in making the event a success.

February 28, 2018 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors along with Steve Fountain, publisher of the Light and Champion and his staff, will welcome Chamber members and the public to a Business After Hours event on Wednesday, March 21st from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at The Light and Champion, 137 San Augustine St. on the downtown Center square.
