"Shred Day and Recycle Day" Slated for May 3rd

May 3, 2019 - The mobile Shredding Unit will be available on the Historic Downtown Center Square on Friday, May 3rd from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Community members are invited to bring documents that need to be shredded.

The Recycle Containers will be on the Downtown Square from May 3rd – 5th. Items NOT permitted in the containers are as follows:

Shelby County Chamber Presents Teacher Appreciation

April 16, 2019 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Teacher Appreciation reception will be held on Wednesday, April 24 at the Windham Civic Center in Center at 4pm. The reception is held annually to salute and recognize the dedicated administrations and teaching staff of all the Shelby County school districts.

Washer Pitching Tournament, 42 Tournament at Grill Fest

April 4, 2019 - Join the Fun at Grill Fest this weekend, April 5 and 6. In addition to sampling great barbeque you can participate in the Washer Pitching Tournament, sponsored by Mathews Real Estate and the 42 Tournament, sponsored by Shelby Savings Bank.

The Washer Pitching Tournament will begin at 12 Noon on Saturday. It is $10.00 per person to participate and the winner takes the jackpot prize.

Southern Seasons to Host Business After Hours

April 1, 2019 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors along with Shana Brittain, owner of Southern Seasons, will welcome Chamber members and the public to a Business After Hours event on Tuesday, April 9th, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 214 Austin Street.

March 27 2019 - April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. To help spread awareness, we are encouraging everyone to hang a blue bow on the door, window and/or inside your business for the month of April. Our local florists have generously agreed to make the large blue bows for $12.00 each.
