March 12, 2019 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors along with Tiffanne Klein, owner of Dazzle Me Pink & Blue, will welcome Chamber members to a Business After Hours event on Tuesday, March 12th, from 5:30 until 7:30pm.
Dazzle Me Pink & Blue will showcase the beautiful collection of children’s clothes and accessories, while at the same time Chamber members will have an opportunity to network with each other in a casual and relaxed atmosphere.
February 19, 2019 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce is celebrating its 100th Anniversary this year. Over the course of the past 100 years, the Chamber of Commerce has been exceedingly fortunate in having outstanding business and community volunteers give of their time, energy, resources and leadership.
In celebration of the Centennial, articles will be published saluting outstanding Chamber leaders.
February 5, 2019 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors with Cindy Lindsey, owner of Sassy Red’s Bakery, will welcome Chamber members to a Business After Hours event on Tuesday, February 5th, from 5:00 until 6:30pm.
Sassy Red’s Bakery will showcase the delicious selection of tasty treats that Cindy and her staff create while at the same time Chamber members will have an opportunity to network with each other in a casual and relaxed atmosphere.
January 10, 2019 - A new member Ribbon Cutting will be held for the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce’s newest member, East Texas Collision Center. The Ribbon Cutting will be held on Thursday, January 10th at 11:00am. The public is invited to attend and meet new owners, Casey and Colette Metcalf and their employees. You will see familiar faces as well as meet some new employees. Sandwiches and drinks will be served!!
January 9, 2019 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce will be celebrating its 100th Anniversary this year. In 1919, Butler Johnson was elected the first President of the Chamber of Commerce and presided over a Board of 27 members. Through out this coming year, the Chamber of Commerce would like to recognize business members, past Chamber Presidents, Board members, Staff, projects and activities from the past 100 years.
December 14, 2018 – The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Tourism Committee today announced the winners of “What Shelby County Texas Means to You” photography contest calling for entries in the areas of architecture, events, activities, seasons, people or places all relevant to Shelby County, Texas.
November 28, 2018 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors are hosting the 6th Annual Taste of the Holidays, presented by Shelby Savings Bank, an eclectic culinary sampling and dining experience, on Thursday, November 29 from 5pm until 7pm at the John D. Windham Civic Center.
November 16, 2018 - Blush Boutique, Shelby County Chamber of Commerce’s newest member, is having its New Member Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening Celebration on Tuesday, November 27th from 4:00pm until 7:00pm. The public is invited to join the celebration.
Blush Boutique is located at 111 Shelbyville Street (in the John C. Rogers Building).
