Shelby County Chamber of Commerce President, Meg Camp, recently announced that the 95th Annual Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Celebration Dinner & Awards, presented by Farmers State Bank, will be held on Tuesday, April 25 at 6:00 p.m. at the Windham Civic Center.   
 
During the awards dinner the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce will present the Farm Family of the Year award, Young Citizen of the Year award and the Distinguished Service Award.    

SC Chamber Of Commerce Seeks Cook Teams For Sanctioned Barbecue Cook-Off

March 14, 2017 - Presented By Farmers State Bank

The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce announces that the Grill Fest sanctioned barbecue cook-off, presented by Farmers State Bank, will take place Saturday, April 8 on the grounds of the Windham Civic Center. The Gold Sponsors are Tyson Foods and Roughrider Tire Service.  Entertainment is sponsored by the Windham Civic Center.

Cline Family Medicine Presents 10th Annual Health And Fitness Fair

March 29, 2017 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the 10th Annual Health and Fitness Fair, presented by Cline Family Medicine, Thursday, March 30 at the Windham Civic Center from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Gold Sponsor, Nacogdoches Medical Center, helped in making the event a success. 

A Scavenger Hunt will be held again with two random drawings for the chance to win a 32” Flat Screen TV and a FitBit. Attendees and vendors are invited to participate in finding items throughout the fair.

Shelby County Day In Austin Slated for April 5, 6

March 14, 2017 - Leadership Shelby County chairman, Jason Locke, recently announced plans are underway for the Shelby County Day in Austin 2017 to be held April 5 & 6. The Texas Legislature recently convened for the 85th legislative session.
 
Citizens of Shelby County are being asked to form a delegation to travel to Austin to the Texas State Capitol to learn about various issues and agencies as well as make any state government concerns known to lawmakers.
