Huxley Helping Hands Food Pantry August 17th

August 15, 2019 - Huxley Helping Hands, a local mission group, is holding a food pantry for the residents of Shelby County on Saturday, August 17th at 9am until food is gone at Hillcrest Baptist Church. It will be held the second Saturday of August 2019. Proof of residency and identification will be required. Only (1) box per household will be given.

Hillcrest Baptist Church is located at 901 Southview Circle, Center, Texas 75935.

August 12, 2019 - Shelbyville I.S.D. is pleased to announce that all Shelbyville I.S.D. retirees will be admitted free of charge to home athletic events for the 2019-2020 school year by presenting a special pass. If you are a Shelbyville I.S.D. retiree and do not receive a pass by mail, please come by the administration office or call 598-2641.

Shelbyville ISD Transfer Request

July 25, 2019 - Shelbyville ISD will be offering an additional transfer request period for students who missed the earlier transfer request deadline. The deadline to turn in paperwork for a transfer request will be Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at 3:30pm. Transfer paperwork may be picked up from Debbie Gilchrist at the Shelbyville ISD Superintendent’s Office. For additional information please call (936)-598-2641.

Shelbyville High School Fish Camp

July 11, 2019 - Please mark your calendars for Thursday, August 01, 2019. This is the date for FISH Camp (freshmen orientation) . All Shelbyville High School incoming freshmen and their parents/guardians are encouraged to attend this orientation. The orientation will begin at 12:00 p.m. in the Shelbyville Cafetorium and should conclude at approximately 2:00 p.m.
