January 11, 2017 - Huxley Helping Hands, a local mission group from the Huxley Community, are holding a food pantry for the residents of Shelby County on Saturday, January 14, 2017. All recipients must show identification, proof of residency and income. Only one (1) box per household.
Sign-in starts at 9am at Hillcrest Baptist Church until food is gone. Hillcrest is located at 901 Southview Circle, Center, Texas 75935.
January 6, 2017 - The following Shelbyville High School students qualified for All-Region Band. They will perform January 14, 2017 at Chapel Hill High School Auditorium at 6:00 pm.
December 9, 2016 - The Jr High basketball games scheduled for Dec. 12 at Shelbyville vs Cushing has been moved to Thursday, Dec. 15. Games will begin at 4:30 pm in Shelbyville.
December 5, 2016 - Shelbyville High School "Dragon Players" will perform Peter Pan on Dec. 12 at 7:00 pm in the Cafetorium. Admission is $5 at the door
November 30, 2016 - Shelbyville Student Council be collecting new un-wrapped toys to be donated to the Shelby County Advocacy Center. Please bring toys for all age children. All donations will be greatly appreciated! Please drop off between Dec 5 – Dec 15 at any campus.
November 14, 2016 - Shelbyville High School Student Council is hosting a Thanksgiving food drive November 7th through the 16th. Please donate items to be given to needy families in our area, donations are accepted at all campuses.
Any non-perishable food items including can goods, Mac and Cheese, beans, rice, bottled water, peanut butter, flour, sugar and corn meal. No refrigerated items.
November 9, 2016 - Shelbyville ISD will be hosting a Health Fair Tuesday, November 15th in the Shelbyville Cafetorium. The fair will be held from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. There will be adult flu shots, medical screenings and door prizes.
