Dodd-Tindol Receives Scholarship Award at Tenaha Holiday Hoops Classic

January 5, 2018 - Tenaha Holiday Hoops Classic awards a $200 Post-Secondary Scholarship to one team member from each participating team in the tournament. The scholarship is awarded to the senior player with the highest GPA on the team.

Kyle Dodd-Tindol received the scholarship award for Shelbyville.

Shelbyville ISD Football All-State Accolades

January 5, 2018 - Shelbyville Dragon Coach Charles Tindol congratulates his football players who received Academic All-State Football recognition for the 2017 Season.

Band Members to Represent Shelbyville at ATSSB All-Region Concert

December 12, 2017 - The ATSSB (Association of Texas Small School Bands) Middle School and High School All-Region band auditions were held on December 8th and 9th. The following students earned a chair in the region band:

Dragon Players Present Fall Show

December 7, 2017 - The Dragon Players will present their fall show, Sweet Dreams on Dec. 12th at 7pm in the SISD Cafetorium. Admission is $5 at the door. Doors open at 6:30 pm.

Shelbyville Student Council Toy Drive

November 29, 2017 - Shelbyville Student Council Annual Toy Drive starts Dec. 4th-12th.

Please donate unwrapped toys at any S.I.S.D. campus. Toys will be given to the Shelby County Advocacy Center.

Shelbyville JCC Food Drive Huge Success

November 27, 2017 - Shelbyville JCC's held a Food Drive at Shelbyville ISD. All campus' participated and collected lots of food for Shelby County Outreach. It was a huge success!

Huxley Helping Hands Food Pantry

November 8, 2017 - Huxley Helping Hands, a local mission group from the Huxley community, are holding a food pantry for the residents of Shelby County. It will be held November 11, 2017. Identification and proof of residency will be required. Only (1) box per household will be given.

Sign in starts at 9:00 a.m. until food is gone. Location is at Hllcrest Baptist Church, 901 Southview Circle, Center, Texas.

Shelbyville JCC Canned Food Drive

October 31, 2017 - JCC Food Drive to benefit Shelby County Outreach. Please donate at any Shelbyville ISD campus

Help out by donating canned goods for those in need for the holiday season! Food must be non-perishable.
