2016-2017 Panola College Alumni Association Board

October 26, 2016 - On Monday, October 24th, the 2016-2017 Panola College Alumni Association Board gathered in the Murphy-Payne Room at Panola College to hold their first semi-annual meeting. Officers elected were Berri O’Neal as Chair, Jeremy Dorman as Vice Chair, and Chastiti Horne as Secretary/Treasurer. Other board members include Don Clinton, Sonya Brasher, Stacie Smith, and Todd Smith.

Panola College Offers Aromatheraphy, CNA Programs

Aromatherapy

The Panola College Workforce and Continuing Education division is offering Aromatherapy on Friday and Saturday, April 15 and 16, 2016, from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., on the Carthage campus.  The cost of the class is $375.00 and pre-registration is required.  For more information, contact the Continuing Education office at 903-693-2067 or email ce@panola.edu.

Panola College Band to Perform First Concert of 2016

February 26, 2016 - The first concert of 2016 by the Instrumental Music department will be on March 8 at 7:00 PM in the Murphy-Payne Room of the M.P. Baker Library at Panola College.  It will be a performance of Chamber Music with the performers all being members of the Panola College Band.  Chamber Music is music performed by small and medium sized ensembles.  There will be woodwind, brass and percussion ensembles as well as a trio with clarinet, voice and piano. 

Panola College Announces Dean's List for Fall 2015 Semester

January 11, 2016 - Panola College is proud to announce the names of those students named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2015 semester. To qualify a student must complete a minimum of 12 semester hours with a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.79. Only courses applying toward an associate degree or certificate are included in the computation.

January 11, 2016 - Panola College is proud to announce the names of those students named to the President’s List for the fall 2015 semester. To qualify a student must complete a minimum of 12 semester hours with a grade point average between 3.8 and 4.0. Only courses applying toward an associate degree or certificate are included in the computation.

Panola College Releases Fall 2015 Graduate List

January 7, 2015 - On December 10 Panola College announced that 251 candidates qualified for graduation this semester. Students receiving multiple degrees or certificates include five for Associate of Arts in Teaching, 57 for Associate of Science, 80 for Associate of Applied Science, and 168 Certificates.
