December 11, 2015 - On December 10, 2015, Sue Haynes, Customer Service Representative for AEP SWEPCO, presented Panola College President, Dr. Greg Powell, and Alan Moon, Director of Facilities, with an initial $6,480.50 incentive check for participation in AEP SWEPCO’s SCORE program. SWEPCO SCORE is a no-cost program that supports participating schools reduce peak electricity consumption and corresponding costs.

December 2, 2015 - On December 2, Panola College celebrated 305 years of combined service throughout the careers of many long-term employees at its annual Christmas buffet. Those with 10 years of service include Rebekah Burkhalter, Don Cocklin, Patti Galiano, Johnny Middlebrook, and Dr. Joe Shannon. Employees with 15 years of service are Mary Chance, Dr. Barbara Cordell, Jeremy Dorman, David Godwin, Connie Hockett, Bill Kruger, Dr. Gregory Powell, Patti Rushing, Allen West, Laura Wood, and Bobby Phillips, a Panola College Board of Trustees.

November 23, 2015 - On Saturday, November 21, the winning ticket of the Cruisin’ for College Car Raffle benefitting the Panola College Foundation was drawn in front of a group of Panola Ponies basketball fans at half-time.

November 9, 2015 - With the opening of the new Charles C. Matthews Foundation Student Center, Panola College now offers classes in aerial yoga. A dedicated yoga room in the new Fitness Center includes the suspended fabric hammocks used in this newest form of yoga.

November 18, 2015 - CARTHAGE, TX - On November 18, 2015 Brookshire Brothers in Carthage presented the Panola College Foundation with a $500 check towards a sponsorship at the Foundation’s annual gala fundraiser.
