Shelbyville HS Students to Compete in District 22AA Academic UIL Spring Meet

March 12, 2018 - High school students in Shelbyville ISD will compete for top honors during the 2018 District 22AA UIL Academic Spring Meet to be held on March 21st at SFA. The UIL Academic District Meets bring students together to compete in over 22 college level academic contests that cover every aspect of classroom curriculum. These students meet rigorous scholastic requirements in order to voluntarily compete in UIL academics. Contestants compete for individual honors while schools compete for the district championship.

Shelbyville High School Academic UIL Students Receive Awards

January 17, 2018 - Shelbyville High School Academic UIL students competed at the Chireno Invitational UIL Tournament on Saturday, January 13.  Receiving awards:
Kurtrick Allen - Science - 1st Place, Biology - 1st Place, Chemistry - 1st Place
Emily Bixey - Persuasive Speaking - 4th Place
Raylen Black - Ready Writing - 2nd Place, Literary Criticism – 2nd Place
TyKevia Blount - Poetry Interpretation - 4th Place

S. W. Carter Elementary School Academic UIL District 22AA Results

December 20, 2017 - S. W. Carter Elementary School students competed in the District 22AA Elementary School Academic UIL Meet held at San Augustine on December 11th and 13th.Receiving awards from Shelbyville:

April 8, 2017 - Shelbyville High School students competed at the Region III-AA Academic UIL Meet held at Panola College on April 7th and 8th.  Medalists from Shelbyville include:
