S.W. Carter Elementary Pre-K, Kindergarten Online Registration Round-Up 2020-2021

April 21, 2020 - S. W. Carter Elementary School with Shelbyville ISD is offering online pre-registration for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten for the school year 2020-2021 with the additional feature to upload required registration documents. In an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 in our community, the Shelbyville ISD school system is currently closed. Enrollment forms and required documents can be downloaded and emailed, dropped off in the drop-off box at the front entrance or mailed to S.W. Carter Elementary, P.O. Box 325, Shelbyville, TX 75973.

S. W. Carter Elementary School New Student Registration, Meet the Teacher

August 1, 2019 - S. W. Carter Elementary School will have pre-registration for new students moving into the district (Pre-k-5th grade) August 5 - 8 from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.  Please bring your child’s report card, immunization record, certified birth certificate, social security card and proof of residency.

Meet the Teacher is set for Thursday, August 15, 3:30pm-5:30pm. Students are encouraged to bring their school supplies.

S. W. Carter Elementary President’s Award for Educational Achievement

June 7, 2019 - The President’s Award for Educational Achievement is given to recognize students who show outstanding educational growth, improvement, commitment or intellectual development in their academic subjects but do not meet the criteria for the President’s Award for Educational Excellence. This award is meant to encourage and reward students who work hard and put forth their best effort in all academic areas.
