Center MS News: Meet the Riders and Volleyball & JH Football Schedule Changes

September 4, 2015 - Center Middle School Principal Jake Henson announces CMS Meet The Riders/First Pep Rally to be held Tuesday, September 8 at 7 pm at Roughrider Stadium. Community is encouraged to come support our athletes and spirit teams.

CMS girls' volleyball will now have games on Thursdays, not Tuesday each week!

Center Middle School football games on September 10th have been moved to Center Roughrider Stadium. There will only be one game for 7th grade and one game for 8th grade.

Center MS Announces Class Schedule Changes for New Year

August 7, 2015 - Center MS has made changes to class schedules for the 2015-2016 school year. Parents and students should note the beginning and ending times, as well as different lunch periods.

6th Grade
1st Period - 7:55am to 8:44am
2nd Period - 8:48am to 9:47am
3rd Period - 9:51am to 10:40am
4th Period - 10:44am to 11:33am
A LUNCH - 11:33am to 12:03pm
5th Period - 12:07pm to 12:56pm
6th Period - 1:00pm to 1:45pm
7th Period - 1:49pm to 2:34pm
8th Period - 2:38pm to 3:23pm

Center MS Awards Day for 2014-2015 School Year

June 19, 2015 - Center MS held Awards Day for 2014-2015 School Year and awarded the following awards to the Middle School students:

Center Middle School College and Career Day

May 19, 2015 - Center Middle School held College and Career Day with several Center High graduates sharing their experiences as college students. Representatives from the U. S. Air Force, Windham Dental, Shelby Savings Bank and Farmers State were also in attendance. Eighth graders were able to attend seven different sessions. This event is the culmination of Career and College research in Career Exploration Class.

Center MS Twirlers Earn Multiple Awards at Kilgore Competition

January 5, 2014 - Center Middle School twirlers recently attended the Vicki Bowden Mobbs Twirling Classic held at Kilgore College. The young ladies received several awards, including: 1st runner up novelty, 4th runner up multi-baton, 5th runner up dance twirl, Most outstanding poise, Most outstanding costume, and Most outstanding baton handling (no drops).
