February 22, 2016 - The JHS baseball game scheduled for tonight (originally scheduled as a home game) will be played at Waskom at 6:30 pm.

February 18, 2016 - Some questions about the Joaquin ISD transfer policy have been asked.  Please let me explain that the only changes were to open up transfers to students in grades 7-12 and not charging a fee.  As in prior years, the applications will be reviewed and a determination made based on the following criteria:

February 17, 2016 - (Updated) Beginning with the 2016/2017 school year, Joaquin ISD will accept applications for transfer students grades Pre-K through 12th with no transfer tuition fees. All transfer applications are due by May 1st. Each application will be considered for approval.
