The process begins with nominations from members of the community. A committee then begins the difficult task of deciding who will be chosen. This year’s committee has named Cicily Cross-Blair and Reginald Davis III to be the 2017 Hall of Honor Inductees.

We have been informed by the TISD Chief of Police and the Shelby County Sheriff's Office that formal charges have been brought against a now former employee of the District for an improper relationship between educator and a student. Upon report, school administrators immediately contacted law enforcement to make them aware of the allegations. At that time, all matters as they relate to the employee in question have been handled as a criminal investigation in accordance with State law.
August 8, 2017 - August has begun and that means school will begin soon for Tenaha students. The Roarin’ Band from Tigerland band began their practices this month. Brian Sours, Band Director, reported a large turnout to this year’s band camp of over 70 students.
