September 11, 2018 - A time honored tradition continues at Tenaha Independent School District. Tenaha ISD recognizes those that have displayed outstanding dedication and commitment to their community. Through the years numerous members have been initiated into the Hall of Honor.
September 5, 2018 - Welcome back to the 2018-2019 school year. I would like to take this opportunity to remind you about class dues. Each class has an activity account that is used for the purpose of paying for the prom their junior year. Each student is responsible for paying $40 in class dues EVERY YEAR.
August 28, 2018 - Homecoming is September 29th for the Tenaha Tigers. This year's homecoming theme is "The Power of Champions" featuring Super Heroes! This homecoming we will celebrate the 20 year reunion of the 1998 State Champions. Make plans to join us for this year's homecoming!
August 28, 2018 - Please feel free to join us Thursday night, August 30 at 6pm at the Tenaha ISD cafeteria for an organizational town hall to establish the TENaha TOGETHER movement.
TENaha TOGETHER is a ten person committee with representation from the school, the city, the Tenaha Businessmen’s Club, and at-large members of the community to come together and simply seek to raise funds for community improvement projects.
August 16, 2018 - Tenaha ISD takes pride in providing the best education possible to the students of Tenaha. The excellent faculty and staff are crucial in achieving academic and extracurricular goals. This year several new teachers were added to the Tenaha ISD family.
July 25, 2018 - August is just around the corner and that means school will begin soon for Tenaha students. The Roarin’ Band from Tiger Land, grades 9-12, will began practice Friday, July 27th for leadership and percussion and full band practice will begin Monday, July 30th.
July 25, 2018 - Tenaha ISD would like to invite students, parents, and community members to the Tenaha ISD Meet the Teachers and Meet the Tigers to be held August 9th.
Meet the Teacher will be held from 4:30pm-6:30pm. Elementary students may bring their school supplies to leave in the classroom. Junior High and High School students may pick up their schedules.
The Tiger Café will open at 5:30 pm. They will be serving catfish baskets or chicken strip baskets for $8.00.
June 1, 2018 - The Tenaha ISD Child Development Center located on the Tenaha ISD campus is now opening enrollment for the 2018-2019 school year. The costs for infants up to 18 months is $125 per week and 18 months and older will cost $115 per week. There is a onetime $50 registration fee and a $50 supply fee due in August and again in January. There are a limited number of spaces available.
