Shelbyville Water System Announces Disinfectant Conversion Starts Sept. 26

September 23, 2022 - The Shelbyville Water System, ID # 2100014 will temporarily convert the disinfectant used in the distribution system from chloramine to free chlorine. The conversion will begin September 26, 2022 and continue through October 25, 2022. During this period, you may experience taste and odor changes associated with this type of temporary disinfectant conversion.

Choice Water System Rescinds Boil Water Requirement

July 22, 2022 - On 07/20/2022, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Choice public water system, 2100005 to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.   

Five Way Water System Rescinds Boil Water Notice

July 11, 2022 - The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Five Way public water system, 2100008 to issue a Boil Water Notice on 07/7/2022 to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

Jackson, Paxton Water System Rescinds Boil Water Notice

July 1, 2022 - On June 25, 2022, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Paxton public water system, 2100012 and 2100031 to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

Paxton (Jackson) Water System Rescinds Boil Water Notice

June 6, 2022 - On June 1, 2022, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Paxton (Jackson) public water system, 2100031 to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

Five Way Water System Rescinds Boil Water Notice

May 13, 2022 - On May 9, 2022, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Five Way public water system, 2100008 to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

Boil Water Notice for Five Way Water Systems Rescinded

April 15, 2022 - The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Five Way public water system, 2100008 to issue a Boil Water Notice on 04/08/2022, to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

Choice Water System Boil Water Notice

March 2, 2022 - Due to a broken water main the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the Choice water system ID# 2100005 to notify customers that were without water March 1, 2022 on 2140, south of 2140 on 96, any dirt roads in the area ( anyone without water) to boil their water, prior to consumption (e.g., washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc). Children, seniors, and persons with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria, and all customers should follow these directions.

February 24, 2022 - The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Choice public water system on February 21, 2022, 2100005 to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
