March 31, 2016 - (Update) It is no longer necessary for Paxton customers that were without water on March 21 2016 to boil their water.
March 22, 2016 - Due to water main break, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required our water System, Paxton Water, to notify customers of the need to boil their water prior to consumption. This is for the customers that were out of water on March 21, 2016 on HWY 84 west of 699 and surrounding county roads.
March 19, 2016 Update - It is no longer necessary for customers on the Choice Water Supply to boil their drinking water.
March 11, 2016 - Due to water main break, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required our water System, Choice Water, to notify customers of the need to boil their water prior to consumption. This is for the customers that were out of water on 3/10/2016 on HWY 96, North of 417 E.
December 29, 2015 - (Update) January 6, 2016 - It is no longer necessary for the customers on McClelland water in the Dreka community that were without water on 12/28/15 and 12/29/15 to boil their water.
Due to a water main break, the TCEQ has required our water system McClelland water to notify customers of the need to boil their water prior to consumption.
This is for customers that were without water on 12-28-2015 and 12-29-2015 in the Dreka community on FM 2427.
Update: December 9, 2015 - It is no longer necessary for the customers that were without water on December 4, 2015 on the Five Way Water system to boil their water.
January 8, 2015 - Due to water main break, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required our water System, Choice Water, to notify customers of the need to boil their water prior to consumption. This is for the customers that were out of water on 1/06/2015 south end of 96 in the Spann’s chapel area.
To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and making ice should be boiled and cooled prior to use. The water should be brought to a vigorous, rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes.
