Boil Water Notice for Community Public Water Systems

November 2, 2017 - Due to a break in the main line, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the Choice public water system ID# 2100005 to notify all customers on Hwy 96, that were without water, to boil their water prior to consumption (e.g., washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc). Children, seniors, and persons with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria, and all customers should follow these directions). 

Paxton Water Supply Public Notice To Boil Water (Updated)

May 28, 2017 - It is no longer necessary for Paxton Water customers to boil their drinking water.


May 23, 2017 - Due to line break, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required our water System, Paxton Water, to notify customers of the need to boil their water prior to consumption. This is for the customers that were out of water on May 23, 2017 in the Paxton area, and surrounding county roads.

Shelbyville Water Public Notice to Boil Water Lifted

April 4, 2017 - It is no longer necessary for customers on the Shelbyville Water Supply that were without water on March 28, 2017 to boil their drinking water.


March 28, 2017 - Due to line break, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required our water System, Shelbyville Water, to notify customers of the need to boil their water prior to consumption. This is for the customers that were out of water on March 28, 2017 on FM 417 E and FM 417 W.

Paxton Water Supply Public Notice to Boil Water Removed

(Update) November 21, 2016 - It is no longer necessary for customers on Paxton Water that were without water on HWY 84 on November 16, 2016 to boil their water.

This is for the customers that were out of water on November 16, 2016 on HWY 84 east of the water plant and surrounding county roads.

Public Notice to Boil Water for Shelbyville Water Lifted

June 10, 2016 - It is no longer necessary for Shelbyville water customers on HWY 87 S to boil their drinking water.


June 7, 2016 - Due to water main break, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required our water System, Shelbyville Water, to notify customers of the need to boil their water prior to consumption. This is for the customers that were out of water on June 7, 2016 on HWY 87 south of 414 to Shelbyville.

Paxton Water Public Notice to Boil Water (Cancelled)

May 27, 2016 Update It is no longer necessary for customers on 139 to boil their water.


May 17, 2016 - Due to water main break, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required our water System, Paxton Water, to notify customers of the need to boil their water prior to consumption. This is for the customers that were out of water on May 17, 2016 on FM 139 south of county road 3360.

Public Notice To Boil Water, Shelbyville Water System (Notice Lifted)
