March 19, 2016 - On Wednesday, March 2nd, Center High School junior, Morgan Ray, was awarded second place for her animated film, Color Creation, at the 2015-2016 state UIL film contest. Ray is the first student from Center ISD to participate in the traditional animation category, and the first to make it to the state competition in filmmaking.

March 9, 2016 - Varsity baseball tournament scheduled for Hallsville, 3/10 - 3/12 has been cancelled. Boys and girls soccer games scheduled for today, 3/9, have been postponed. Rescheduled for Thursday, 3/10. Girls game at Jasper at 3:00 p.m.

March 8, 2016 - After six lead changes in Monday's game at Center, Center Lady Riders Varsity finally pulled out a 9-7 win over Diboll .

Center Lady Riders Varsity finally managed to grab the lead after a strong sixth inning. Center Lady Riders Varsity went up for good on a three-run home run by Bailee Hendricks off Palomino, bringing home Claire Spann andLaJada Hicks.

Center Lady Riders Varsity held off Diboll , as Diboll was unable to overcome a three-run sixth inning deficit.
