April 20, 2021 - The CISD School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) is seeking 8 new members for the 2021 -2023 term (1 and 2 year terms). Parents, guardians and community members play a vital role in the district-wide implementation of our coordinated school health program. This a 1 or 2-year term commitment. Council members are critical for recommendations, proposals, or action items and working group participation as well as votes conducted during our 4 annual SHAC meetings. Meetings typically last 1 hour from 8-9 am.

April 8, 2021 - The Center Lady Riders competed March 31st at the Region III, 17AAAA District meet in Jasper and advanced 10 athletes in 13 different events.

April 5, 2021 - The CHS Theatre Department presents its District Champion One-Act Play Medea this Thursday, April 8 at 7:30 on the stage of the CHS Cafeteria. Medea is an ancient Greek tragedy, one of the oldest dramatic pieces in history, but its tale of gender inequality, near-sighted selfishness, family dysfunction, and shocking decisions are eerily modern and relevant. To make the ancient story more relatable, the setting has been changed from pre-Christian Greece to 1950s Georgia.

March 26, 2021 - The Roughrider Sports Team is proud to announce it is carrying the Rider Soccer Playoffs!

Coverage begins tonight as the Roughriders take on the Livingston Lions in Hudson. Game begins at 6:00pm; pregame begins at 5:45pm.
