CHS NHS Candidates: Application Deadline, Dues

July 27, 2020 - Eligible candidates should have received a letter in the mail. Please fill out the online application by using the Google form link included in the letter. Deadline for applications is Thursday, August 13. Dues can be paid at CHS beginning August 10.

Center HS Volleyball Practice Starts August 3rd

July 27, 2020 - To all Center high school girl athletes in high school, grades 9-12: The first Lady Roughrider volleyball practice will be Monday, August 3rd and will go from 8am to 11am.

Everyone who is interested needs to meet at the high school gym at 7:45am. Bring your own water bottle and shoes.

Center HS Cross Country: Interested Participant Meeting, Practice Aug. 3

July 23, 2020 - To all Center Girl and Boy High School students 9-12: The first Roughrider Cross Country practice will be Monday, August 3rd and will last from 7:00-8:30 am.

Everyone interested should meet at the football fieldhouse for a short meeting before practice begins. Be sure and bring your own water bottle, running shoes, and towel.

Center ISD Extracurricular Participants Must Enroll in Brick and Mortar Option for Learning, No Virtual Pre-K

July 23, 2020 - Center ISD has made the decision to allow only those students enrolled in the brick and mortar system to be involved in extracurricular activities. During our discussion, it was determined that logistically it is better for these students to be in our brick and mortar buildings.

There will be no virtual Pre-K 3 or Pre-K 4.

Center ISD Roughrider 2020 Season Football Tickets On Sale (Postponed)

July 23, 2020 - Ticket sales originally scheduled for Monday, July 27, have been postponed until further notice. Information regarding ticket sales will be released in the following weeks.

July 21, 2020 - If you wish to re-claim your season tickets for the 2020 Rider Football Season, they will go on sale at the High School Athletic Office beginning, Monday, July 27th, 2020. The Athletic Office will be open for reserve seat ticket sales Monday – Friday from 8am to 4pm.

Center HS Athletic Facilities Closed Until July 13

June 29, 2020 - The CISD Athletic Department is ending all strength and conditioning activities until July 13th as a precautionary measure. Athletic facilities will be closed. We will resume activities as scheduled the week of July 13th.

Perkins, Watlington Advance to Final 60 in National Speech, Debate Tournament

June 22, 2020 - In the National Speech and Debate Association’s National Tournament, Center High School’s Mark Perkins and Jack Callen Watlington advanced to the final 60 in the 260-team Duo Interpretation Contest this past weekend.

Counselors Available June 22 at CHS Following Student Loss

June 22, 2020 - Following the loss of one of our recent graduates, counselors will be available for the student body on Monday, June 22, from 8am to 1pm at Center High School.
