January 22, 2024 - The Piney Woods Photographic Society held their first meeting of the 2024 year this past Saturday. The January Challenge was "Photographer's Choice." Club members were able to submit up to 3 photographs of their choosing for discussion and voting. There was also a workshop presented by Billie Haggard Jones on "Finding the Picture in the Picture" about how to photograph macros (extreme close-ups) and close-ups. 

January 19, 2024 - Tri-County Community Action, Inc. has one (1) opening for Representative of the Poor to serve on our Board of Directors for Sabine, Shelby, and San Augustine Counties. January 15, 2024 - All Shelby Savings Bank locations will delay opening one hour Tuesday, January 16th due to severe winter weather conditions.

Lobbies and drive-thru will be open and ready to serve you Tuesday at 9:30 A.M.

January 15, 2024 - Shelby County Outreach Ministries and all its programs will be closed tomorrow due to hazardous road conditions because of the freezing weather. January 11, 2024 - Holiday Nursing and Rehabilitation delivered sweets to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department and the City of Center Police Department for Law Enforcement Appreciation Day on Monday, January 8, 2024.
