September 22, 2017 - The Joaquin ISD School Board met September 18, 2017 in regular session at 6:00 p.m. in the Joaquin Boardroom with the following members present: Chrisco Bragg (arrived at 6:43 p.m.), Thomas Harvey, Jeff Cater, Bill Mason, Jr., Brandon Neal (arrived at 6:38 p.m.) and Tam Hearnsberger. Board member absent was Ronnie Belrose. Guests present were Molly Mason; Lanie Stanley; Michalla Byrd; and Wayne Haglund, School Attorney. Joaquin ISD employees present were Phil Worsham, Superintendent; Joel Bumback, Director of Finance; Terri Gray, Jr.

September 20, 2017 - This week is National Child Safety Week and the Lufkin District is urging parents and grandparents to make sure little ones are restrained safely and correctly in a vehicle.
