December 5, 2016 - Friends of Robin McDonald will be having a bake sale to help her and her family with expenses. Robin was run over by a hit and run driver while walking home from work on Thanksgiving evening in Nacogdoches.
 
Robin sustained a broken neck and arm, and some other minor injuries. She is the mother of 3 children and was the sole income earner in their family. Christmas is upon us and Robin and the children need to know that people care.

December 2, 2016 - The Texas Department of State Health Services and Cameron County Department of Health and Human Services today announced the first case of Zika virus disease likely transmitted by a mosquito in Texas. DSHS is supporting Cameron County’s response to the case and to the ongoing risk of Zika in the community.
