December 29, 2016 - Happy New Year! I hope your holidays were filled with family and good food. The next time you hear from me we will have begun the 85th Legislative Session, which is set to last 140 days during odd-numbered years. During this time, the Texas Legislature must pass a two-year budget as well as to address existing laws and consider new legislation. It has been an honor to serve as your state Senator since 2007, and I look forward to this next year and working together to make a difference for our state.

December 23, 2016 - Shelby Savings Bank will be open Christmas Eve for customers needing to take care of last minute financial business. All branches will be closed Sunday, December 25 and Monday, December 26 to allow our employees to spend time with family for Christmas. 

The bank will also be open New Year's Eve and closed New Year's Day and Monday, January 2, 2017.
